Why did no one warn me about being a mother to three? (okay, Liv & Lei warned me in advance) I mean, really...someone could have told me that having three children under the age of three would produce some trying times, at least! Would it have been so hard to tell me that all at once I could have a tantrum throwing three year old, a one year old crying, and a newborn wanting to be consoled...and how hard it would be to find a way to do all three things at once?
Oh, and what about the sleepless nights? No one reminded me what it was like to wake up all night (or sometimes never go to sleep) with an newborn. No one reminded me what it's like to walk around like a zombie all day from the lack of sleep. Where were all these people?
LOL...of course I'm kidding. I was told over and over how hard it would be and what a juggling act it would become. While we are having a wonderful time loving our new addition and watching our older two love her as well, we are tired and laugh at ourselves for having three under three. It's a journey we look forward to, but Marc & I also look forward to sleep!
